Beautiful Seoul boasts several major train stations, and the Yongsan railway station is definitely among the busiest ones. It serves most trains on the Honam Line, and all trains on the Janghang and Jeolla Lines.

About Yongsan Train Station

Nestled in the eponymous district, the station boasts a great location next to the famous Yongsan Electronics Market. The two buildings are adjoined, so if you have time to kill before departure, feel free to walk around this huge retail area housing over 5000 stores.

The station's building is also rather spacious and very well equipped, inside you can find everything you would expect from a modern train station. It is operated by Korail with 6 platforms and 13 tracks. It also services ​Honam, Gyeongwon, and Gyeongbu lines.

    ​CAN I CATCH A KTX TRAIN AT YONGSAN STATION?

    Yes, you can. The station services high-speed KTX trains and even prides itself on being the terminus to KTX trains running from Seoul to Mokpo.

    ARE THERE LOCKERS AT YONGSAN STATION?

    Of course, feel free to take advantage of self-service lockers in exchange for a small fee. It costs 2000 KRW (about 1.75 USD) to rent a small locker, 3000 KRW (about 2.65 USD) to rent a medium, and 4000 KRW (about 3.5 USD) to rent a big one. You can rent them for 4 hours at a time.
